1. For my commitment to pep band, I know I could have preformed better. I was there for all of the required games. Unfortunately I didn't go to all the volunteer games. I wish I would've went to a few of them to boost my grade. If i were to give myself a grade I would give myself a B. I would have given myself this grade because I could've easily went to a few of the volunteer pep bands to not only help my grades but just be there for the experience. Also I don't always preform the best at the pep bands. Mostly because i'm getting distracted by basketball and crowds. Also it can also get extremely hot and that can also affect my playing.
2. Yes I think pep band is very important. First off it gets people involved in not only playing your instrument but you also get to have a fun enjoyable experience with your friends and get to witness your basketball team flourish. Also this can prepare for college. Also if you want to do like marching band you already you can say you have past experience.
3. My favorite songs are Wipe out, Duck Song, and All I do is win. I like Wipe out because the drums on that song are so cool. Like when I hear the drums I get super pumped and excited to play the song. Also we can play the soxng in sync really well. I like the duck song because its really kiddish and cute. Also its really enjoyable to play it while kids fling ducks on to the stage. I like all I do is win because I feel like its a really well known song and when we play it the crowd goes wild. It is one of the harder songs to play though. There is definitely room for improvement.
4. My least favorite pep band song was land of 1000. I didn't have a certain measure that I didn't like just the whole song was rough. There were a lot of accidentals and that messed me up a lot. I had to get used to that band keep up with the pace. The song was very quick and fast pace so I got lost easily.
